Know exactly what your import file should look like

Setting up an import with our self-import tool has always meant a bit of guesswork at the start. You know what data you want to bring in, but not exactly what VobeSoft expects: which fields exist and what they're called. So you build a CSV, upload it, read the errors, correct it, and upload again.

Now you can export the schema as a CSV, headers already in place and no rows underneath. Fill it, upload it, done. It saves the most time on the imports that are least fun to build: an object with a few dozen fields, or a migration out of an old system where nobody remembers what the source columns were called either.

How to use it? Open the import tool and click Export schema before you build your file. The self-import tool isn't part of every plan. If your environment doesn't have it and you could use it, drop us a line at support@vobesoft.com.

🪲 Bug fixes

  • Pushing a dashboard to your colleagues no longer creates duplicates.
  • Unique fields no longer reject values that were actually unique. Duplicates were always caught correctly.
  • Mirror fields display correctly again in flat lists.
